Public Emergency First Aid Course

Student learning CPR during public emergency first aid courseThe Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is one of our most popular courses.  The course provides a good foundation in emergency first aid at work and is suitable for many employers and private individuals.

The course covers essential first aid including CPR, unconsciousness, and minor injuries.

The Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 Course (1 day course) is running monthly from February 2016.  Courses are run at a venue local to Brighton, and will be advised at the time of booking.

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

6 hours /delivered over 1 day (or flexible delivery)

Maximum number 12 (delegates need to wear practical clothing for training)

Course Content covers:

  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Treating Unconscious casualties and Seizures
  • Choking
  • Wounds and Bleeding
  • Shock
  • Minor injuries
  • Working safely / record keeping
  • Acting safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
